Troubleshooting: My Musical Friend is Not Playing Music or the Cord is Stuck
If your Musical Friend is not working, please follow these simple steps:
Issue 1: Music is not playing or is cutting out.
Check the Cord: Ensure the pull-cord is being extended fully and smoothly. Sometimes, if the cord is pulled unevenly, the winding mechanism can catch. Try slowly winding and unwinding it completely.
Check the Tension: Our music boxes are mechanical. If the toy has been dropped or roughly handled, the spring inside may lose tension.
Issue 2: The pull cord is stuck.
Gentle Wiggle: If the cord is stuck, try gently wiggling the plush toy itself while pulling the cord slowly. Do not tug hard, as this can break the internal mechanism.
Inspect the Exit Point: Check the fabric around where the cord exits the plush to ensure no fibers are blocking the string.
